IT services company Powerlan has been appointed by positive identification distributor Triton Secure as a platinum-level reseller.
Powerlan recently formed a specialist network security division, and plans to use the range of positive identification products Triton Secure distributes in its network and Internet security solutions.
John Meddows, chief executive officer at Triton Secure, said Powerlan brought "a lot of experience and technical expertise to the table".
"It is ideally placed to deliver cost-effective identification and authentication solutions to Australian Government and business, as well as providing 24 x 7 technical support," Meddows said.
Bernard Collin, Powerlan's general manager, enterprise security solutions, said its partnership with Triton Secure gave Powerlan the ability to offer its customers solutions "that provide the highest levels of security and are easier to administer than traditional passwords and PINs".
"The ability to be able to replace password administration with this technology provides our customers with a very cost effective security access system," Collin said.
