Tony Gattari, ex-general manager of Harvey Norman's computers and communications division and more recently, albeit short-lived, consultant to Internet service provider Eisa, has changed allegiances, this time to Dataflow.
Gattari will act as a consultant for the distributor with the goal of expanding the company's product and market expertise.
According to Jeffry Tobias, Dataflow's executive chairman, Gattari will build on Dataflow's recent management, warehouse and infrastructure enhancements.
These include the appointment of Michael Touma as managing director, a new financial director, a move to larger premises and the launch of Dataflow's business-to-business auction site, planned for today.
Dataflow has also recently implemented a tier-one IT system, JD Edwards, that will underpin all its operations.
"We are very ambitious about where we want to be and Tony can add a lot of value across the board," said Tobias.
