Masterpack metamorphoses

Software developer Masterpack has changed its name to Tenuteq International and will launch its new look with the addition of two other brands enabling it to focus on the e-commerce and customer relationship management (CRM) spaces.

Tenuteq will be responsible for the distribution and integration of its Masterpack software as well as Great Plains' Relationship 99 and Pivotal's eEnterprise solutions on a global basis.

The changes are an attempt by the developer to expand its presence both geographically and across a broader market.

Specifically, Tenuteq will focus on providing e-commerce solutions and services to the telecommunications market, utilities and high-tech companies.

According to Brad Adams, the newly appointed managing director of Tenuteq Asia Pacific, Great Plains and Pivotal best met the needs of these markets. "We analysed the market to see what was taking off -- obviously CRM and the Web are the hot issues -- then went in search of a best-of-breed solution for the middle market. Pivotal and Great Plains stood out," he explained.

Tenuteq will utilise the whole range of Great Plain products including service management software, its project series and its distribution suite.

Pivotal products incorporated by Tenuteq in its e-commerce solutions include Pivotal's Customer Hub and Partner Hub series, which focus on the high tech market.

Tenuteq will continue to add to its stable of products and has tentative acquisition plans in order to grow in the CRM mid market space, Adams added.
