Mitch Radomir, former NetStar Networks business development manager and a ubiquitous figure in the IT industry, yesterday started a new job at Nortel Networks.
Radomir's post at the internetworking behemoth is as market portfolio manager, a role designed to allow him to promote Nortel's ebusiness technologies. One source said Nortel is aiming to significantly raise the company's profile as an ebusiness solutions provider with the appointment.
Oliver Gnass, Nortel Networks' APAC marketing director, said Radomir's newly created role sees him become something of an ebusiness evangelist. "Mitch is going to be a leader for defining the ebusiness marketplace for Nortel."
When ARN spoke to Radomir last week about the role, he indicated that his decision to join Nortel was because it offered new opportunities. He was unavailable for comment yesterday.
