The deadline for the second round of Austrade's "Silicon Valley eBusiness Mission Competition" is less than a month away.
The competition, open to all Australian businesses with a turnover of less than $20 million, gives 10 local companies the chance to spend a week in the Valley with access to some of the industry's biggest vendors and investors.
Entrants must have an export plan, be ecommerce or business-to-business enabled, and complete a one-page application form detailing why they should win the trip.
First announced in September 1999, the Silicon Valley eBusiness Mission Competition is part of the Federal Government's initiative to increase the value of Australia's information and communication technology exports to $29 billion by 2005.
Entries close on April 3 and the trip will take place from May 22 to 26.http://www.austrade.gov.au/SILICONMISSION/page51709.asp
