Network integrator Memorex Telex Asia-Pacific has signed a sole reseller agreement with software applications vendor New Millennium Solutions (NMS) to sell and market CrossVIEW software.
Oliver Descoeudres, Memorex Telex marketing manager, said it was selected by NMS as sole reseller for CrossVIEW because it tended to offer fairly high value add to its customers. He said it also sold its customers solutions across different IT areas, and understood their needs both on an IT and business level.
According to Descoeudres, Memorex Telex was currently deploying CrossVIEW internally and would be looking at using it more in-house.
Memorex Telex will also be showing the value of CrossVIEW to some of its key accounts. 'Our goal in the short-term is to prove CrossVIEW in the enterprise market,' he said.
'It's got a solid background, it's a great product and our challenge is to market it out there.'
Descoeudres added that Memorex's customers had been enthusiastic about CrossVIEW because of the software's ability to manage service level agreements. 'CrossVIEW integrates the systems management disciplines of HelpDesk, problem, change and inventory/asset management.'
Descoeudres also pointed out that it provided businesses with proven operational and service desk processes and workflow and assists organisational accountability.
Peter Stewart, NMS managing director, said Memorex Telex was a specialist in providing customers with market-leading solutions, services and support for their business-critical environments. 'Having a strong focus on the mid-range server market, Memorex Telex is ideally suited to CrossVIEW.'
