<p>Personal photo studio and print centre offer increased productivity and quality photo management at home</p>
<p>SYDNEY, 13 October 2003 – Lexmark today announced two new inkjet All-In-One (AIO) printers, bringing increased printing functionality and productivity to consumers and small businesses with varying needs and budgets.</p>
<p>The Lexmark P3150 and the Lexmark X6150 offer users the opportunity to create professional results at the touch of a button.</p>
<p>“The new Lexmark P3150 and the Lexmark X6150 offer powerful yet affordable tools for small business and home users”, said Stephen Waugh, General Manager, Consumer and Small Business, Lexmark Australia and New Zealand. “Based on the inkjet technology that has advanced Lexmark to the forefront of the inkjet market, both AIOs allow users to maximise productivity and at the same time unleash their creativity.”</p>
<p>Lexmark P3150</p>
<p>At A$249, the Lexmark P3150 is Lexmark’s first AIO with built-in camera card slots which lets users print photos, create reprints, scan and copy from one device.</p>
<p>With the Lexmark P3150, users can organise and share memories with a host of easy-to-navigate applications. Consumers can now create reprints, design and print scrapbook pages, develop an online photo album and generate a PC-enabled slide show.</p>
<p>The Lexmark P3150’s on-board camera-card readers enable users to quickly retrieve images and generate brilliant borderless 4” x 6” and A4 prints, at up to 4800 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) resolution on photo paper. The 48-bit flatbed scanner allows users to easily incorporate traditional photos into their digital worlds.</p>
<p>Digital camera owners can insert memory cards into the unit directly and within minutes edit, save and print their photographs.</p>
<p>Lexmark’s integrated Photo Editor software ships with the Lexmark P3150 and allows users to perform commonly sought-after image editing, including red-eye reduction, crop and resize photos and photo enhancements to adjust the contrast and brightness of your photos.</p>
<p>The Lexmark P3150 complements virtually all digital cameras, supporting CompactFlash I &amp; II, SmartMedia, Memory Stick, Secure Digital (SD), MultiMedia (MMC), and Microdrive memory cards.</p>
<p>Lexmark X6150</p>
<p>The A$399 Lexmark X6150 offers Lexmark’s core inkjet technology, 48-bit flatbed scanning capabilities, PC-free colour copying and a dedicated, standalone fax function featuring a 33.6K modem.</p>
<p>Offering ease-of-use, the Lexmark X6150 features PrecisionSense™ media sensing technology that automatically assesses the stock in the paper tray and adjusts the printer driver for optimal output. Automatic cartridge alignment helps ensure the best print output without manual adjustment. In addition, The Lexmark X6150’s illuminated LCD panel is intuitively arranged, enabling users to quickly execute a range of functions.</p>
<p>Perfect for customers who often work under deadlines, the Lexmark X6150 boasts print speeds of up to 19 pages per minute (ppm) in black, up to 15 ppm in colour, and copy speeds of up to 16 copies per minute (cpm) black and up to 11 cpm in colour.</p>
<p>For superior looking photos and graphics-enfused reports, the Lexmark X6150 offers variable colour drop size technology – three picoliters (pL) for textured areas and 10 pL for solid areas – allowing for smooth colour transitions and intricate detail.</p>
