CommSecure has appointed Sydney-based ISP Asia Online as its latest reseller, in a bid to expand sales of its e-commerce solution overseas.
"It's a strong relationship," said CommSecure's managing director Ray Loygaza. "They have good connections with initiatives throughout Asia, which will help us with our plan to expand into Asia and New Zealand."
Asia Online will begin immediate distribution of all CommSecure's e-commerce solutions, including credit card clearance, direct bank payments and electronic payments integration.
Loygaza said CommSecure has about five other ISPs like Ozemail acting as resellers, as well as a network of more conventional channel partners, but the company would be happy to take on more.
"Especially on the Internet side of things, channel partnerships are a real way of growing relationships with companies. We hope to build vertical markets, and get involved in the business between companies."
CommSecure will target their Sydney clients first, followed by an Australia-wide push, finally moving to a South East Asian focus.
Asia Online approached CommSecure because they were looking for an e-commerce partnership, Loygaza said.
"We didn't choose them, they chose us. Why? Because we're the best! We tend to be on the lower end of the price curve, we're orientated to volume provision of services and we have a reliable, redundant electronic payment system, not just a shonky link to a bank."
