Business management software group MYOB has acquired accounting software company Professional Tools (NZ) for an undisclosed sum.
Operating predominantly on New Zealand's North Island, Professional Tools (NZ) provides software and services to about 120 accounting practices, but the merger is expecting to see 1000 New Zealand accounting practices serviced.
The clients of Professional Tools (NZ) will be provided with fully integrated MYOB software and support.
MYOB has also announced it will be moving headquarters in December 2000.
The company has entered into a 12-year lease for a new purpose-built facility at Tally Ho Technology Park in East Burwood, Melbourne, where it will house MYOB's international corporate headquarters as well as its Melbourne operation.
