The channel is abuzz this week with whisperings that actor Jason Alexander, best known for his portrayal of George Kostanza in the TV sitcom Seinfeld, has retired from a spectacularly successful career in comedy to work in the Australian reseller channel.
While Alexander's US agents have so far failed to confirm or deny the rumours, unconfirmed sightings have pinpointed the comedian to the Sydney suburb of Botany.
The word on the street is that the rumours were sparked by a case of mistaken identity caused by the uncanny likeness between Alexander and Westcon sales whiz John Readshaw.
"It is really quite amazing," commented one reseller who refused to reveal his identity to Tabloid. "Even their gestures are similar. It has to be genetic; this kind of thing doesn't just happen by accident."
