Goldilocks a no show

Storage VAR Digital Storage has announced its new partnership deals with hardware and software vendors ATL, EMC, Exabyte and Veritas.

Digital Storage chose to mark the event at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, complete with an extreme sports video, exploding mini-burgers and hostesses with climbing equipment strapped to their waists.

With four storage solutions vendors in an enclosed space, the organisers did well to prevent a slanging match, although Digital Storage insists that there are no major offering clashes between its new partners.

To avoid confusion, the guests were colour-coded: yellow tags were possible clients, orange were Digital Storage and their various vendor partners, green were the marketing group Three Bears and fluro pink were the press. Tabloid can only assume that the colour coding was designed to ensure Digital Storage representatives could easily recognise who to say what to, given increasing states of inebriation as the night wore on.

Goldilocks failed to make an appearance, although rumour has it that overall the night was a success as Digital Storage sales director David Solsky reportedly came to in a taxi at some ungodly hour of the morning wondering if the porridge was still hot.
