Recent management shifts at integrator Com Tech communications are being shrugged off as mere housekeeping by director of marketing Merle Singer.
Singer told ARN that former managing director David Shein has taken on the position of executive chairman. This new position should see him take more of a role in strategic planning which means he will have to pare back the hands-on side of operations.
Shein's brother Jon is set to fill the vacated position of managing director of Com Tech group.
According to Singer there are no other changes to Com Tech's management line up.
"Essentailly the changes will allow David and Jon to work together to a greater extent, it is all about leveraging the synergy that exists between them. Rather than looking externally for talent we have tried to look at the resources we have within Com Tech," Singer said.
"It is not so much a reshuffel so much as a strategic realignment," she explained.
