MICROMUSE EXPANDS ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION - Micromuse Awarded for Commitment to Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction

(Nasdaq: MUSE), the leading provider of business and service assurance software, announced it has received ISO 9001:2000 certification for its software development processes and ability to measure and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Bestowed by the ISO (International Organization for Standardization), ISO 9001:2000 is an extension of the ISO 9001 certification that was awarded to Micromuse in June 2000. ISO 9001:2000 certification includes significant additional recognition of Micromuse’s commitment to process control, customer care, and improvements in product quality and design.</p>
