KAZ Computer Services has won a four-year IT outsourcing contract to supply hardware and support to marketing and sales company Food Service Associates (FSA).
FSA plans to change the way the catering industry orders food by using technology to provide online information such as nutritional analysis, market trends and stock levels without having to use a landline telephone connection in the client's restaurant or store.
Under the contract, KAZ will supply the entire IT environment including hardware, asset management, help desk support and WAN/LAN support. The sales team can automatically upload sales information throughout the day and download orders onto the central server at KAZ.
According to FSA chief executive officer Bruce Young, the company chose KAZ because it offered the most flexible IT solution. "In KAZ, we have found a technology partner who will ensure we stay at the forefront of technology," he said. Financial details were not disclosed.
