Enterprise content management vendor, FileNet, has appointed former Staffware business development manager, Richard Gray, to a newly-created role of channel sales manager.
Gray said the position had been created to drive more of FileNet’s revenues through channel partners. About half of the company’s revenues were currently earned through the channel on a worldwide basis.
He was attracted to FileNet by its breadth of offering.
Gray joins a team of 35 staff working in Australia.
FileNet’s local channel consists mostly of large systems integrators such as BearingPoint, Accenture, KAZ, Logica and Alphawest.
“[Managing director] James Rae has asked me as my first task to review our channel, to do a health check,” Gray said. This might include where it may make sense to bring on new partners, he said.
