Fone Zone extends reach with buyout

Mobile phone retailer Fone Zone will expand its operations across eastern Australia, acquiring The Mobile Phone Shop Company for an undisclosed amount.

The buyout will increase Fone Zone's retail store count from 12 to 38 outlets. The Mobile Phone Shop stores will be rebranded and operating by September 1.
