Melbourne-based systems integrator, Australian Information Processing Centre (AIPC) and UK systems integrator, Logica, have formed a partnership to deliver CRM product and service solutions.
The partnership is expected to rake in more than $5 million in revenue for both companies for the rest of this year alone, according to Robert Beck, managing director of AIPC.
The partnership will involve Logica providing systems integration services while AIPC will provide Applix iEnterprise as the CRM solution, technical support and training.
"As the prime contractor, Logica will be responsible for delivering on the overall solution, with AIPC providing product as well as additional technical and professional support and expertise," said John Phillips, line of business manager at Logica.
This is not the first time the two companies are teaming up, they have worked on projects for the National Australia Bank and ANZ Bank in the past.
According to Beck, this newly-forged partnership will enable both companies to increase their client base as well as tap on a wider skills base. "The partnership allows both AIPC and Logica to access a wider client base and the breadth of expertise and services we are able to offer is far more accessible," said Beck.
"The partnership will also give Logica access to the Applix product, which is a useful addition to our existing portfolio of CRM products," says Phillips.
Beck also said the partnership will give AIPC the capacity to take on projects worth more $500,000. "AIPC is an SME and government-endorsed supplier, and does not have the capacity to handle projects worth more than $500,000. For multi-million dollar projects, we have sought out partnerships with large systems integrators," said Beck.
Besides Logica, AIPC has also worked with Siemens Business Services, Data#3, EDS and CSC.
