Synnex has expanded its distribution agreement with Epson and will now carry the printer vendor's range of consumables.
The deal covers ink cartridges, toners, drums and Epson paper.
Synnex claims the deal will double the size of its consumables business.
"We are very optimistic on our sales projections because it will open up a number of new avenues to resellers who are purchasing consumables from other suppliers - they can come into our fold," Synnex marketing manager, Daniel Feldman, said.
The distributor also carries consumables for HP's range of printers.
To help ramp up reseller interest, Synnex will introduce a range of incentive programs, as well as a number of product and consumer bundles.
"We will heavily push the Epson Gold Seal program to encourage resellers to purchase through authorised channels," the distributor's regional sales manager, Arthur Gimises said.
Synnex's relationship with Epson was formalised in November last year when the distributor won a contract to distribute its complete range of printer products.
This followed the vendor's decision to sever ties with its former primary supplier, Digiland. It also carries Canon printers.
