<p>HP Targets Identity Management Software Customers</p>
<p>SYDNEY, Australia, 8 November 2004 – Hewlett-Packard (HP) today announced a program to help customers address challenges that may arise in identity and access management due to Computer Associates’ planned acquisition of Netegrity.</p>
<p>Under the “HP Select” program, qualified customers can sign up for HP OpenView Identity Management Solutions with discounts between 20 to 80 percent. Other incentives include complimentary HP consulting, such as an identity management needs assessment and cost analysis. HP’s offer to Computer Associates and Netegrity customers provides a path for easy, seamless integration of provisioning, access and user management using their existing infrastructures.</p>
<p>HP’s Identity Management Solutions helps customers reduce overall IT costs and improve compliance by streamlining the management of users and securing their access to network and enterprise resources.</p>
<p>“HP’s identity management software is built for the Adaptive Enterprise because it has the agility to meet organisational and regulatory changes and allows customers to address change easily,” said Paul Muller, Marketing Manager, Software Group Business Unit, HP Australia.</p>
<p>“The HP OpenView Identity Management Solution provides a better investment protection and a lower total cost of ownership as it can be easily adapted to meet long-term changes to business requirements.”</p>
<p>The discount is available to customers directly from HP or through its channel partners up till 31 January 2005.
