IT service provider Praxa have confirmed reports the company is going through another major restructure at present, but refused to confirm rumours the restructure involves the retrenchment of staff.
The rumours surfaced in a CDN article claiming over 70 staff were expected to be made redundant during the restructure, but Praxa spokesperson Dene Elsegood refused to confirm or deny any truth in the claims.
Elsegood said the current restructure is unrelated to a restructure announced at the end of September, which included an extensive reshuffle of Praxa's management and the business being split into three separate divisions, Praxa Technology, Praxa Business Solutions and Praxa Digital Media Group. The company appointed Colin Holgate, formerly of Deloitte Consulting and Unisys, as CEO, as well as Steve Cantanzarita as CFO and Steven Sackett as Senior Commercial Business Officer.
Elsegood said the firm's first priority is to discuss the restructure with staff, but was in no position to comment any further.
