Dialog Information Technology has become the sole distributor in Australia of Infinium's integrated, wireless customer relationship management (CRM) solution for the IBM iServer series.
The AS/400 e-business solutions provider's Infinium CRM 7.0 is Web and personal digital organiser (PDA) enabled to provide organisations with a direct gateway to e-business.
A spokesperson for Dialog said the solution integrates with most enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including SSA, BPSC, SAP and JD Edwards.
Alan Key, managing director for Dialog said integrating the solution into other systems was not a "huge job".
"We set up a mechanism to connect the CRM around the existing systems. We usually pick a sweetspot [to first implement into] so people can understand CRM, and then build [the solution] incrementally, as it usually becomes a hub within the company."
The solution delivers support for business relationship management, sales and marketing, and support services, regardless of geographical boundaries.
