Available in 1GB or 512MB models, these mini USB 2.0 drives are capable of reading files at up to 9Mbps or writing at 7Mbps. They are plug-and-play compatible with Windows (Me, 2000 or XP), Linux 2.4.1 and Mac OS 9.0 or above but require a separate driver with Windows 98 or Mac OS 8.6. Iomega Active Disk titles are designed to launch automatically from an Iomega Mini USB 2.0 drive when it is plugged into a compatible PC and leave no trace on the host PC. Iomega has also upgraded its 128MB and 256MB models to USB 2.0 – up to nine times faster than USB 1.1. The Iomega Mini USB 2.0 Drives are distributed by Tech Pacific, Ingram Micro and Alloys.
