Business Integration Solutions (BIS) has scored a five-year voice services outsourcing deal with AXA joint venture company Members Equity.
Valued at $750,000, the deal will see the Melbourne-based voice and data integration company provide Members Equity with voice communication management, infrastructure and maintenance.
BIS's integration national sales manager, Michael Ditchburn, described the deal as the largest of a range of similar service agreements.
"In the last 12 months we have had a number of companies approach BIS looking for voice administration services," Ditchburn said. "We are aiming our services at the SME space because it is being largely neglected by outsourcing companies at the moment."
Ditchburn is expecting the voice and data arm of BIS to quadruple, as the SME sector looks for savings through outsourcing its call centre or voice control requirements.
In preparation for the growth, BIS has invested in fully scalable Canadian designed software.
"We have the infrastructure in place to cope with the growth we are expecting to see in 2001," Ditchburn said.
As well as a growing voice client base, BIS is diversifying its offerings to include fully rebranded voice integration services.
"We are presently in discussion with a number of channel companies in relation to our product," Ditchburn said "We are interested in working with people who want to become wholesalers of our voice services."
