Systems integrator Logi-Tech and storage vendor EMC have formed a strategic relationship to target South Australian businesses with EMC's CLARiion range.
Peter Moore, Logi-Tech's managing director, believes that as organisations increasingly participate in B2B e-commerce, they will need to hold larger amounts of data.
"The need for highly available, reliable and flexible storage solutions is vital as more customers demand access to information 24 x 7," Moore said. "It is now recognised that storage is a major requirement all companies need to address."
Moore said Logi-Tech's relationship with EMC was critical to the systems integrator's growth in SA, because one of the main components of systems integration was data storage.
"In the past, the South Australian market has been dominated by national and multinational IT companies, which have serviced many of the larger corporations," asserts Moore. "We have a very good reputation within the state for our service levels and quality of product. We are seen as a highly focused IT provider with alliances to address national issues where required."
