Systems Union has inked a deal with Econsult Management Consultants that will see the software vendors offer integrated forecasting and reporting products. The first fruits of the combined software solutions have been implemented by Voyages Hotels and Resorts across northern and central Australia.
The partnership is a marketing and reseller agreement allowing Econsult to package its SuperModeller financial development software with Systems Union’s flagship financial and business management package, SunSystems.
Both companies will market the integrated solution. They offer consolidated budgeting, reporting and forecasting capabilities across multiple sites.
“The combined solution of SunSystems and SuperModeller provides an invaluable aid to senior financial and operations management, by accurately predicting income, expenditure, cash flows and financial outcomes based on the most recently available information,” Econsult managing director, Alan Harrington, said. The market was ripe for powerful financial software tools, according to Systems Union A/NZ managing director, Bill Bryce.
“We’ve found a lot of companies now are flatter — with less management structure,” he said. “People want more analytics. They need the products to do that.”
While last year’s financial year end had shown “no major uplift, probably for the first time,” Bryce claimed the company was on track for its “best month of the year” during June.
