Broadband and dial-up Internet services newcomer, BKB Internet, has announced the launch of a dealer program which offers the channel new opportunities to bundle ADSL services.
BKB Internet is distributing Comindico-based broadband ADSL services and is looking for independent computer dealers, IT consultants, white box assemblers or integrators that want to add built-in broadband connections bundled with PCs at the point of sale.
Resellers can earn one-off connection fees before leaving all billing and support issues with BKB.
According to BKB’s customer services manager, Greg Lipschitz, the new dealer program will interest both large and small resellers and offers plenty of value-adds to the end users.
“Every ADSL service we sell gives the customer access to free dial-up service as well if they are away from home or the office,” Lipschitz said. “It should not be necessary for users to have a separate dial-up account for when they are on the road.
“For the cost of a local call anywhere in Australia, BKB users can still have Internet access without needing a second account.”
Lipschitz said the margin for resellers on the BKB service was as good as anything currently available with returns of up to $18 per connection on deals starting at $99 per month.
Through the Comindico network this service was also available when roaming anywhere in the world where the service is available, he said.
BKB Internet was registered six months ago.
In addition to ADSL services it offers domain name registration and management.
