Linksys SRW208MP

Designed for small businesses, this 8-port 10/100 Ethernet switch with WebView and maximum Power over Ethernet (PoE) is contoured to offer secure, reliable and managed gigabit switching. The SRW208MP offers two Gigabit copper or optical interfaces for connection to a core switch. It is designed to support the IEEE802.3af standard for PoE at a maximum output power of 15.4W per port on all 8 ports simultaneously. Each port has independent overload and short circuit protection. The device employs IEEE 802.1X port authentication and MAC based filtering to secure the network. The combination of intelligence and small size make it an ideal candidate for a conference or training room where security and uptime are important, the vendor said.
