After a trial in Italy, Adobe Systems is planning to announce it will sell its "Creative Suite" collections of professional graphics software worldwide.
The Creative Suite, which will come in standard and professional editions, will include the latest versions of several of Adobe's applications.
The suites should be available in October, sources familiar with the software vendor's plans said. Creative Suite Standard Edition includes Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Premium Edition adds GoLive and Acrobat 6.0 Professional. Both bundles offer enhancements for users working in teams such as version control for documents, as well as a PDF workflow feature and training information.
The bundles are identical to the ones Adobe introduced in Italy in April last year, except that Creative Suite Premium Edition in Italy also included Premiere, Adobe's video editing application.
In Italy, the full price for Standard Edition is $2543 and Premium Edition costs $3052, according to Adobe Italy's online store. Pricing for the worldwide bundles is expected to be similar. Adobe is also expected to offer discounted upgrade pricing for current customers.
Adobe officials declined to comment on this story.
