Panda serves up new protection suite

Panda Software has rolled out a global release of its Antivirus for Windows Server 2003 to coincide with the launch of the new Microsoft server operating system. The vendor claims it operates in 32 and 64-bit environments, adapts completely to the improved Active Directory System (ADS) included in the new Microsoft release, detects and disinfects viruses in Encrypted File System (EFS) environments and offers optimum performance in Distributed File System (DFS) servers. Panda Antivirus licence-holders will be able to upgrade solutions free of charge. Panda Antivirus (for Windows Server 2003 is distributed by Quadtel. RRP: $36.74 for 101 to 250 users).
