LG L1730B

LG has released the L1730B, a 17-inch TFT LCD monitor that features the flatron f.engine chip. The chip generates enhanced brightness and contrast without compromising colour quality. Mirroring global trends, the Australian LCD market has witnessed a surge in the demand for Multi-Function Monitors (MFMs) that incorporated TV tuners and were compatible with various AV formats, the company said. However, to date many monitors lack the adequate picture enhancement capabilities. LG's Flatron f-Engine solved this problem by ensuring optimal image quality and performance from LG's LCD monitors. It incorporates Digital Adaptive Fine Image (DAFI) technology - a brightness and contrast enhancer, for crisper, sharper images. DAFI utilises a Real Colour Management (RCM) function that enables the expression of natural colours, and an Adaptive Colour and Contrast Enhancement (ACE) capability that improves contrast and brightness.
