Billing service provider, QM Technologies, has entered into a partnership with French developer Esker Software for the provision of a new outsourced mailing service.
Mail on Demand allows customers to send documents electronically to QM for hard-copy mail out.
QM Technologies product development and marketing manager, Ian Goodwin, said volume document delivery is not a core competency for most organisations and claimed outsourcing would deliver time and cost savings.
It will initially be aimed at existing QM Technologies tier-one enterprise customers with large-scale SAP ERP systems.
“We were approached by Esker and immediately recognised an opportunity because it addressed an issue some customers had raised. We have not previously had the software to provide a solution cost effectively,” Goodwin said.
Esker provides mainly SAP-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) software solutions.
“Our software accepts printed output for any application on any operating system and allows the electronic flow of documents to move more efficiently,” Esker Australia managing director, James Elkington, said.
Sydney-based QM Technologies employs more than 300 staff and has regional offices in Brisbane and Melbourne.
