Melbourne-based distributor, Multimedia Technology (MMT), has announced an extended warranty on all Shuttle XPC barebones. The offer, effective June 1, doubles the previous terms.
MMT Shuttle purchasing manager, Mike Muscat, said Shuttle had won confidence after five years in the Australian market. This was reflected in its increased local support.
"The market's performing quite well and there are now a lot of different Shuttle products to suit a lot of applications," he said. "The security market sees a neat little box that can be tucked away; while education like that it's compact but can still take full height cards."
Muscat said Shuttle's decision to extend warranties, and the performance of the products, would boost reseller confidence.
Shuttle recently released its latest crop of XPC barebones, which are compatible with dual-core processors.
