BenQ Australia has released the latest addition to its digital camera line up — the DC2300. The camera features a 2.1 Megapixel CCD that can produce high resolution images up to 3.1 Megapixels, as well as BenQ’s histogram and image transformation (HIT) technology. HIT technology distinguishes variations between colour levels. The camera combines a silver veneer with a 1.6” screen. It also features dual media storage — 8MB internal memory with the ability to upgrade memory with SD or MMC card. The camera uses a power saving design so that two AA alkaline batteries can last up to 2.5 hours, even with the LCD on. RRP: $269.
