NetComm gets price aggressive

NetComm has launched a new range of broadband routers aimed at the cost conscious end of the home and SoHo market. The vendor claims its NB 2800 ADSL/cable router protects against external intruders with a Network Address Translation (NAT) firewall. It also offers IP, Uniform Resource Locator (URL) and Mac filtering. Features include a four-port Ethernet switch, making the network expandable to between four and 253 computers. It supports TCP/IP, UDP, PPPoE, PAP and CHAP protocols to make it operable with most ADSL services. The NB 2800 is distributed by Tech Pacific, BBF, IT Wholesale and Ingram Micro. RRP: $169
