Air Portal hits Sydney with new execs

Wireless network provider Air Portal has expanded its management team, adding a a new CEO and head of sales. Formerly Melbourne-based, the company has also moved its headquarters to Sydney.

Air Portal’s new CEO, Michelle Neil, was promoted from marketing VP.

Chairman, Andrew Hamilton, said Neil’s appointment reflected the “significant value that she has brought to the company over the past year” in her marketing role.

New to the stable is Lloyd Parata, formerly of ACNielsen Online Market Research, who takes on the role of vice- president of sales. Prior to his stint heading up Asia-Pacific sales and marketing for ACNielsen, Parata was Asia-Pacific regional manager for Input Software in San Jose, California.

Air Portal, now based in the Sharp Building in Milsons Point, moved to Sydney to be closer to major partners Cisco and Optus.
