Microsoft Gold partner Veritec has opened its new headquarters in Belconnen, Canberra after experiencing growth in staff and government contracts.
In the past five years, Veritec's team has grown after placing a specific focus on Microsoft technologies and creating a deep understanding of government customers. The company also has offices established in Melbourne and Sydney.
Veritec is part of the FTS Group and has more than 150 staff that work across various government contracts including Department of Health, Department of Agriculture and Water Resources and the Department of Education.
The company had approximately 120 staff members 12 months ago.
Veritec CEO Keiran Mott explained the company was formed five-years ago as a result of a separation from Cordelta and with the help of its investor FTS Group which also has companies such as Anatas, FTS Data & AI, Kobold, SME Gateway and Cubic Consulting under its umbrella.
“Since that time, we have not only grown our team in numbers, but we have also expanded our footprint nationally. The new headquarters in Canberra represents the result of the hard work and dedication of our people, the support of our partners and the trust from our customers,” Mott said.
Since its inception, Veritec boasts more than 700 government contract wins, and last year landed a deal to operate Microsoft's Modernisation Factory for Federal Government departments and critical infrastructure providers.
At the time, the deal marked one of Microsoft’s largest and most comprehensive request for services to be conducted in Australia for the delivery of cloud modernisation and workload migrations.
