IT support and consultancy provider, Linktech Australia has launched a new cloud backup service targeting SMBs with complete data protection.

To help promote its service, it will be offering 1TB of free cloud storage to customers for a limited time ending 30 September.

The service backs up applications, servers, endpoints or mobile devices, regardless of the operating system or location, to a secured Australian-based data centre.

The company has listed some of the benefits of its cloud backup service: these include features such as data encryption with password protection AES-256 in transit and at rest, role-based access for security and backup technology with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, PCI and HIPAA.

The service can also be adjusted to each client’s requirements for secure backup and effective restoration from their data centre, private or public cloud. It is also monitored, fully scalable and proactively managed 24/7, the company claimed.

“Today’s SMBs are struggling to keep up with the growing volume of data to back up while making sure it’s protected from constant threats," Linktech Australia managing director, Regina Melamed said.

"As part of today’s announcement, we’re putting the call out to all SMBs to make sure they have complete protection while ensuring they keep multiple backups available at all times."
