Anybody else catch the way we addressed the Queensland Minister for Innovation and Information Economy last week? Yes, you read it right, Paul Lucas is now being titled by his press advisors as “e-Minister Paul Lucas”.
Does this mean Mr Lucas is e-nabled? Does it mean he has a strong presence on the Web? Does this mean he no longer exists in the bricks and mortar sense of the word? No, we have a photo right here to prove he has not become a virtual entity.
ARN believes all manner of professionals should follow in Mr Lucas’ suit and change their title to reflect the information revolution. Are you a plumber with internet access? You are now an e-plumber. A doctor with a hotmail address? We dub thee an e-doctor.
This e-journalist has had e-nough of this nonsense.
