Sophos awards its top performing A/NZ partners

Recognises partners' dedication and success over the last financial year

Security software vendor Sophos has acknowledged the award winning efforts of its top channel partners in Australia and New Zealand at Sophos Discovery on 23 August.

The partners that were awarded Partner of the Year were Exigo Tech and HD IT in Australia as a result of efforts of growing their Sophos business by 50 per cent and taking Sophos' synchronised security strategy to customers. 

Vivek Trivedi, managing director of Exigo Tech and business partner for HD IT, said the win was a “really, really proud moment” for the team.

“This is a reconfirmation that we have chosen the right partner. We have chosen the right message to the market and being partner of the year for 2019 gives a lot of confirmations to the business strategy and the market reputation.”

In New Zealand SSS – IT Security Specialists was awarded Partner of the Year for its success in the New Zealand market with its current install base and appeal towards new customers.

The award for New Partner of the Year was given to The Missing Link while Datacom's Karl Yuan was awarded Salesperson of the year and Aryon's Jimmy Harden was the Sales Engineer of the Year.

SureBridge in Australia and IT Partners in New Zealand won Managed Services Provider of the year, while Bluechip Infotech in Australia and Exeed in New Zealand won Distributor of the year.

Jon Fox, channel director for A/NZ at Sophos, congratulated the vendor’s partners on their success.

“Our partner network is filled with partners that we trust and depend on, which is important given Sophos is a 100 per cent channel driven business,” Fox said.

“This means we rely on the success of our partners and do everything we can to ensure we’re adequately supporting them, to help them deliver the best outcomes possible to customers.
