Networking vendor Tenda has appointed Alloys as its first Australian distributor as it looks to expand its local presence.
Victoria-headquartered distributor Alloys will have access to the China-based vendor's full portfolio of products.

"Alloys’ distribution capability and specialist services are exactly what Tenda needs to develop our business in Australia SME markets," Tenda Australia MD Jeffrey Wang said.
"Through the strategic partnership, we will not only supply products and solutions, but also provide comprehensive services and technical supports, to SME resellers and system integrators across Australia," he added.
Services and technical support will include interstate showrooms, sales training and technical training that will be run by Alloys.
"We believe Tenda is a great addition to our growing technology products portfolio," Andrew Rubin, national business manager – technology solutions at Alloys said.
"Tenda brings innovative products and solutions that will fit in well with not only our IT customers, but we also see an opportunity to be able to offer Tenda’s products to resellers in other markets like; IP telephony, security integrators for use with IP security cameras and our growing reseller database of IoT integrators and resellers."
In June, Alloys announced a distribution agreement with Actiontec for the vendor's wireless display solution.
