Integrated collaboration services provider ELB (Electroboard) has appointed James Brennan as its national head of education and NSW state manager.
Based in Sydney, Brennan will be responsible for leading the national education team of ELB specialists as part of a newly created role.
In particular, he will be tasked with meeting the demand for interactive learning and flexible spaces across Australia.
“The education landscape is changing dramatically driven by technology innovation and will continue with cloud transformation," ELB general manager of sales and marketing Mario Hilmi said. "That in turn is supporting the move to personalised learning and more collaborative interactions for the digital natives of today and tomorrow.”
Prior to joining ELB, Brennan held senior leadership roles including working with Hilmi at BlueJeans and spent more than 10 years at Polycom in Asia and North America in sales, marketing and product management leadership roles. Most recently, he was senior director of A/NZ for collaboration provider Kaltura.
“I worked with the business while at Polycom to deliver one of the largest video conferencing infrastructure deployments globally into schools across NSW,” Brennan said. “I know the technical capabilities and long history ELB has in transforming education and the professional support the business provides to teaching staff across Australian schools.”
In June, ELB made some new appointments to its leadership team hiring Mario Hilmi as its general manager of sales and marketing, and Sharonika Camplin as head of marketing.
Part of Camplin's remit is to lead the brand development for ELB after it rebranded from Electroboard last year.
