Capgemini launches Invent in Australia

Opens three Invent studios in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra

Capgemini is launching its digital transformation business line, Capgemini Invent, in Australia with Susan Beeston leading the charge. 

Beeston has been with the consultancy firm for more than 19 years covering various senior roles and was most recently the leader of Capgemini Digital in Australia. 

The debut of Capgemini Invent follows the global launch in September last year, with three new global studios being launched in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. 

Globally, Capgemini Invent counts more than 7000 staff across 30 offices and 25 studios. The business unit combines digital capabilities with expertise to help organisations prototype, test and scale new products, services and business models. 

The unit is made up of six integrated practises including: innovation and strategy; customer engagement; future of technology; insight driven enterprise; operations transformation, and people and organisation.

“The launch of Capgemini Invent in Australia and New Zealand strengthens our transformation capabilities to orchestrate meaningful changes across every facet of our clients’ business in an agile way to drive continuous growth and innovation,” Capgemini A/NZ managing director, Olaf Pietschner, said. 

“In today’s experience-led economy, the combination of Capgemini’s global scale, coupled with local expertise, will further enhance our ability to help clients navigate the myriad of opportunities presented by digital technologies and to reinvent their business and customer experience models.”

Recently, Capgemini opened a security operations centre (SOC) in Melbourne to help meet increased customer demand.

The consultancy firm said the SOC will provide Australian customers a well-rounded portfolio of cyber security services to accelerate transformation and help drive business differentiation, innovation, transformation and operational efficiency across their organisations while protecting data, assets, identities and overall customer trust.
