Exclusive Networks Pacific and Transitions Systems have combined into one single organisation under the Exclusive Networks banner.
The business operations will remain the same with Transition Systems becoming Exclusive Networks UC. Its entire staff will also move into Exclusive Networks offices.
"This is a positive move for both organisations as it enables consolidation and improvement of core functionality while still maintaining the laser-like focus on specific market segments,” said Michael Beesley, managing director of Transition Systems. “It also presents a great opportunity for the respective vendors to expand their exposure within the region.”
"We see no difference to how the business will be run or conducted as the whole team at Transition will continue to do exactly what they are doing today," he added. "We also see improved customer service from the adoption of a more efficient ERP system as well; so, it’s a great win for all concerned."
The company told ARN that the new business structure will have no impact on existing vendor deals. Transition Systems has been a part of Exclusive Group of companies for more than two years and there will be no change or disruption to any existing relationships. The new structure will also have no impact on future deals in any way.
"The addition of the specialised UC Business creates great opportunity overall with the shared expertise of both teams adding even more value for our collective customers right across the region," said Jonathan Odria, managing director of Exclusive Networks Pacific.
"We consider this initiative a symbiosis rather than a merger. We are all focused on the collective goal of building a global specialist distributor with an individual approach to local markets."
Partners should not face any disruption as the companies move into one, and Transition Systems will continue to focus solely on UC products and solutions.
In January 2016, Exclusive announced the acquisition of Transition without disclosing the value of the deal.
At the time, the acquisition was described as the largest in its history and added a further 18 offices in eight countries including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
The acquisition of Transition Systems Asia also brought the total size of the Exclusive Group to more than 1,200 employees.
