The Western Australia Police Force has handed a four-year Citrix managed services deal to Perth-based firm Dienst Consulting.
The $1.2 million contract will see Dienst manage the force’s remote application and desktop delivery solution to a range of computing devices and communications channels for both fixed and mobile on Citrix.
Dienst will be required to maintain the police’s existing solution and provide the option for additional licensing until 2022, with the option of a three-year extension.
Founded in 2012, Dienst Consulting is a Citrix Gold partner and has been providing solutions in the secure enterprise space since the business first launched.
It also offers services in mobility, public, hybrid and private cloud – working with Microsoft and VMware as well as Citrix on the latter – plus data back up and management.
According to Dienst, the company has the only Citrix certified instructor in the Western and Southern Australia regions. It also has a large team of specialists with skills across the Citrix portfolio from SD-WAN, Application Delivery Controller (ADC) to its Intelligent Workspace
“We’ve always had a very strong partnership with Citrix, and this win continues to demonstrate that Dienst Consulting is a partner of choice for Citrix and our customers,” Dienst Consulting sales manager Steve Humphrys said.
“This is a fantastic win for Dienst Consulting and demonstrates our continued work with customers in the enterprise and the government sectors. We have been very focused on educating the market on our strengths and capabilities not only with Citrix and Microsoft but with our other key technology partners as well.”
