Systems integrator Outcomex has launched its third Australian office marking its expansion into Adelaide.

Located in North Adelaide, the office was officially opened in 1 May and currently houses two staff members, including South Australian sales manager Frida Saul, who will lead the local operation.

Saul has previously worked for iiNet and more recently Telstra, where she was the senior inside sales account manager for Adelaide.

According to Outcomex, Saul's experience at the telco giant will help strengthen the two companies' existing partnership by helping to identify where Outcomex's expertise can complement Telstra’s solutions.

“I’m incredibly excited to be a part of the Outcomex team," Saul said. "The culture of the team is really refreshing and you have the complete support of every person working with you."

"Outcomex has something uniquely different in our approach, whereby specialist skills are at the core of our business, giving us the knowledge, understanding and ability to execute on solutions with confidence.”

Joining Saul is pre-sales engineer Bassel Fayed, a former solutions architect for Ingram Micro in New Zealand. Prior to Ingram, he worked for Westcon-Comstor NZ and Vodafone NZ.

Initially, the sales and engineering specialists from Sydney and Melbourne will help the SA team.

“Adelaide has been one of the first cities in Australia to join the trend of Smart Cities technology adoption, which is very attractive to us, given our capabilities in IoT and Smart Cities," Outcomex founder and managing director Marco Delgado said. "The expansion will also allow us to extend our solution offerings and managed services reach to better serve our existing customers.”

The Adelaide office launches 18 months after the company expanded into Melbourne. In that time, the Melbourne office has expanded from three to 15 staff members with Outcomex originally planning to grow the number even further.

Now boasting a total headcount of 90 people across Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, the integrator said it now hopes to expand into Brisbane and Canberra over the next two years.

Next year, the company plans to move to a new head office with space to accommodate more than 100 staff, claiming to have new employees starting every month. Between 2016 and this year, the Sydney headquarter's headcount has grown from 25 people to 75.
