Melbourne-headquartered managed services provider ITtelligent has expanded into NSW by launching its first office in Sydney.
After 13 years working from Melbourne, ITtelligent saw the need to expand after signing more clients in Sydney as well as seeing its existing Victorian customers expand into Sydney.
Initially, the new office will house former ARQ Group systems engineer Edward Jakosalem, who will also be in charge of recruiting a senior support engineer in the coming weeks. ITtelligent currently employs 20 people in Melbourne.
"Having made an impact in Melbourne and disrupting the MSP market we are excited to showcase our abilities to Sydney-based companies who are sick of paying hourly rates with poor levels of service," founder and director Robert Adelman said.
The expansion will allow the MSP to provide a greater level of service to its Sydney customers, including more frequent on-site visits.
By having allocated staff and equipment available for deployment in Sydney, the company said it will be able to fix urgent issues in a shorter timeframe and reduce its operation costs.
"It just makes sense given many of our clients already have an office in Sydney and if ITtelligent wants to be a serious contender for dominating the IT industry within Australia and the world, proceeding with Sydney is a smart move," Adelman added.
The MSP expects to grow the Sydney presence organically as it did in Melbourne previously.
Some of the vendors ITtelligent works with include Cisco Meraki; Duo; ESET; HP; Microsoft; StorageCraft and Watchguard.
