Australian collaboration software provider Ixup has signed new channel deals with Tech Mahindra and Deloitte Australia.
As part of a revenue-sharing partnership, Tech Mahindra’s customers will be able to use Ixup's technology to connect multiple data sets in an encrypted analytics environment hosted by the Indian IT services company.
The company claims to have footprints in 90 countries, including in Australia and New Zealand, and up to 930 global customers, although this particular deal will concentrate on Australia.
According to Tech Mahindra’s SVP and Australia country head Jeff Ferdinands, the deal will allow the company to offer “unparalleled secure data analytics” to its customers.
Meanwhile, Ixup has signed a reseller agreement with Deloitte Australia that will see them jointly offer Ixup's secured data analytics capabilities platform alongside Deloitte’s consulting and market services.
The agreement will supply customers with a single access point for advanced analytics service offerings. The deal comes off the back of another partnership deal signed with Servian last year.
At the same time, the publicly-listed company has deepened its existing relationship with Microsoft that will see it now implementing Microsoft SEAL, a homomorphic encryption library developed by the vendor’s Research arm.
According to Ixup, the deal “significantly improves” its data analytics platform by allowing it to help secure data while it is being used.
“Homomorphic encryption is a key piece in the future data analytics value chain, and we are thrilled to bring MicrosoftSEAL to our clients,” Ixup CEO Peter Leihn.
“This level of encryption will enable parties to confidently share and analyse data on the Ixup platform, secure in the knowledge they are fully compliant with data governance regulations as well as protected against digital threats.”
The new initiatives come off the back of Ixup's launch of a new software-as-a-service (SaaS) distribution model, which it will offer in addition to its platform-as-a-service (PaaS)
Leihn said the SaaS offering would appeal to the small-and-medium enterprise market.
"The SaaS offerings bring a new approach to our business model and will benefit our clients with more agile and flexible solutions,” he added.
