Transition Systems has inked a new distribution agreement in with newly combined communications and collaboration vendor Poly.

Polycom and Plantronics made a move to re-brand the entity to Poly in March following the US$2 billion acquisition of Polycom last year.

Transition Systems has been a Polycom distributor for more than 10 years. Its parent company, Exclusive Networks also has a distribution relationship with both Polycom and Plantronics in South East Asia.

Transition Systems Australia managing director Mike Beesley welcomed the merger of both vendors, as it presents a unique opportunity for the partner community to access unified communications and collaboration solutions from one entity.

“Having a long standing partnership with Polycom and now as the official distributor for Poly in Australia and across South East Asia, our organisation simplifies that opportunity further by bundling solutions either on their own or with other third party conferencing and collaboration vendors,” Beesley said.

Newly appointed Poly A/NZ managing director Andy Hurt said for more than 10 years Transition Systems delivered growth through value added services to local channel partners.

“Now being able to leverage the full portfolio of Poly communications and collaboration solutions, the future opportunity this brings is exciting,” Hurt said. “Our channel is an invaluable part of our business model and we look forward to working together.”
