Karl Sice has vacated his role as head of Commercial and Federal Government at ASI Solutions, exiting the business after 16 months.
ARN can exclusively reveal that Sice - inducted into the ARN Hall of Fame in 2017 - has left the technology provider effective immediately, and is seeking new opportunities within the channel.
“The past 16 months of service to ASI Solutions have been some of the most exciting times of my professional career,” Sice told ARN. “I am proud of the growth and accolades we as a team have achieved in partnership with our customers and partners particularly over the past year.
“ASI has a wonderful family first culture and I wish Nathan, Justin and all the crew at ASI much continued success into the future.”
During his tenure, Sice established the provider’s Commercial and Federal Government business, with an initial team of 10 employees, while also deepening vendor alignments with Microsoft, HP, Trend Micro, Extreme Networks and Veeam.
“We are extremely proud of the growth and achievements ASI has gained over the past 12 months and thank Karl for his involvement and contributions,” added Nathan Lowe, managing director of ASI Solutions.
“Moving forward ASI Solutions will continue to strengthen their alignment in the commercial space and lead the partners, alliances and stakeholders towards even greater success.
“We have some aggressive growth targets which we are focused in driving towards and feel we have the momentum and structures in place to achieve these targets. Both Justin and I, along with the wider ASI Team would like to wish Karl all the best in his future ventures.”
The departure of Sice follows another strong 12 months of growth for ASI Solutions, fresh from reporting revenues of $84.5 million during the past financial year, driven by the addition of net new customers.
In acquiring the business of Chartered Accountants A/NZ, Flower Power and NSW Ambulance, the Sydney-based provider now serves more than 2600 organisations across Australia.
Such growth, revealed in August 2018, was complemented by a year-on-year increase of 112 per cent within the company’s managed services division, with end-user wins spanning local government, education and corporate sectors.
In response to an expanded line-up of customers, ASI Solutions has also boosted headcount by 15 per cent, alongside a leadership realignment across both sales and services.
“In the coming 12 months we plan to see this continue to grow significantly and needed to ensure the team was structured in a way sustain it,” said Lowe, when speaking to ARN in August 2018.
With the recruitment of new customer logos key, the past 12 months also seen ASI Solutions expand into the lucrative enterprise market within Australia.
In 2018, ASI Solutions took home double recognition as the ARN Innovation Awards, honoured as the leading Mid-Market and Customer Value partner in Australia.
