Avaya has recognised leading partners across the Asia Pacific, following a year of growth through the channel.
The awards were unveiled during the vendor's partner summit held in Bangkok, Thailand, acknowledging excellence during the past 12 months.
In total, 10 awards were given to the vendor’s top channel partners from Australia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China.
“In an increasingly digitised business environment, it is more important than ever for technology companies to collaborate in designing holistic solutions to their customers’ business needs,” said Fadi Moubarak, vice president of channels at Avaya International.
“We recognise organisations who share this vision and who are using Avaya’s open communications platforms to innovative, to grow and to deliver additional value to the market."
The vendor’s go-to-market transformation strategy for APAC channel partners was on display during the event, impacting more than 6,600 channel partners globally.
While Malaysia’s e-world communication represented Southeast Asia as the vendor’s mid-market partner of the year, the majority of awards went to channel partners from Japan, Australia and South Korea.
Australia-based Telstra was honoured for its ability to develop the latest, customer-centric innovations on the Avaya IX Meeting and Avaya IX Contact Centre Digital platforms.
The vendor also paid homage to the partners driving regional could growth, with Australia and Japan leading the pack with CTI Solutions recognised for the Powered By seats in Australia last year and SCSK gained recognition for growing the vendor’s cloud business by over 40 per cent in 2018.
